Process
  1. In anticipation of an upcoming campus event or spirit week, create a school-specific hashtag for all to use.
  2. Next, have a small competition to see what post at your school can receive the most positive attention (favorites, retweets, likes, etc.).
  3. Finally, showcase the winner of your competition on your school account for all to see!
  4. NOTE: Please make sure that your hashtag is positive, as we want to make sure that all students feel empowered by the buzz your leadership group is creating on campus.

Process
  1. The next time you create a spirit section shirt for your students, designate an area on the back as a printed, white space (similar to a PE shirt’s name spot).
  2. Next, design the area above the open space to read “I’m here for…”
  3. Prior to athletic events or student performances, have fabric markers handy for students to write-in the name of a friend who they are there to support.
  4. This is a GREAT way to show some personalized love in your community.
